Waffles topped with fresh Strawberries and Maple Syrup

The waffles are crispy on the outside and a bit fluffy inside. Also it is naturally sweet, so easy on the maple syrup. The fresh strawberries on top has enough tart to cut down the sweetness of the waffles. As far as frozen waffles go, this is really good; it really does taste like a waffle. One of my complaints is that the waffle is quite thin that if you over toast it, it becomes extra crispy and you loose the fluffiness in the middle.

Van’s Natural Foods – Waffles

Meal 1:

1 cup of white rice

4 pieces of baked tofu

1/2 serving of leftover stir fry

1 small popcorn (Free from Edward’s cinemas if you check-in via popcorn.yahoo.net)

(the veggie burger actually taste good and flavorful, my only complaint was it is VERY thin, imagine 2 quarter coins stacked on top of each other. I wish they double the patty)

Dessert:

1 chocolate soy shake from Natural Cafe (Santa Barbara on State St)

Snack:

1/2 side order of veggie chowmein (From Camarillo’s Outlet Food Court)

1/2 caramel apple with almonds and dark chocolate chips

Home cooking at home after the LOOONG Trip

1 1/2 cup of Garlic Fried Rice ( brown and white)

1 serving of Stir Fry Vegetables ( carrot, bokchoy, zuchini) on soyaki sauce

3 pieces of baked tofu
