Saturday 6/25/11 Entry

WARNING: It is garlic pasta day or week… it seems that these past days and the following days will be filled with garlic pasta as my meal…

Meal 1:

1 serving of garlic pasta

Salted Caramel Donut from Babycakesnyc Los Angeles

1 salted caramel donut

Waffle Corners and Chocolate Chip Cookie

1 waffle corner topped with berries and butter (the cookie in the photo is my sister’s; it delicious too. The waffle is soft, sweet, plus the tart strawberry and the butter = DELICIOUS-NESS!! and the good part, it is only $ 1.50 -> same price as the cookie)

Meal 2:

1 vietnamese steam roll (its like rice pan cake)

1 iced green tea with boba

Meal 3:

1 serving of garlic pasta 

1 waffle corner from babycakesnyc LA

Tuesday 6/14/11 Entry

Meal 1:

1 1/2 servings of veggie chowmein (left over from night before)

1 glass of chocolate soy milk

water

Meal 2:

Panini Sandwich and Soy Milk

1 small sandwich of tofurky deli + daiya cheddar shreds

1 glass of soy milk

Snack from Babycakes:

Chocolate Chip Cookie

1 agave brownie bite

2 chocolate chip cookie

water

Meal 3:

Veggie Chowmein

1 serving of veggie chowmein

Vietnamese Vegetarian Sandwich

3/4 Vietnamese Vegetarian Sandwich

water

NOTES:

Agave Brownie Bites – it is good but the sugar one is more moist in my opinion. This one is a bit dry.

Chocolate Chip Cookies – its good… its chewy and a bit dry. maybe because it is too thin?  

 

Wednesday 6/8/11 Entry

Meal 1:

1 small soy latte from Coffee Bean and Tea

Meal 2: 

(from Babycakesnyc in Los Angeles)

Chocolate Strawberry Doughnut and Brownie Bites

1 chocolate strawberry doughnut

1 brownie bite

water

Meal 3:

1 cup of brown rice

1 serving of Gardein Mandarin Orange chick’n

1 serving of sauteed kale and carrots

water

2 mini soy ice cream sandwiches

NOTES:

Babycakes – a vegan bakery… YEHEY!! I’m a sucker for pastries, desserts and sweets. CONS: The location is in a weird off the way place in the downtown area and the price is expensive for a cupcake/doughnut but then again you are paying for the ingredients. I would definitely go back to this place and try their creations but it won’t be in a regular basis. 

DELICIOUS!!

Chocolate Strawberry Doughnut – I miss the taste of doughnut, this tastes amazing. The glaze though is too sweet for myself but the tartness of the strawberries cut through it. 

Brownie Bites – AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS , they are little piece of heaven… expensive heaven lol.
